Icemann
Icemann International Ltd was established
with the purpose of delivering the best quality,
longest lasting, branded ice boxes to our
customers in Africa.
We are suppliers to some of the world’s largest beverage companies
with a focus on large volume ice box requirements for Informal
Market beverage distribution projects.
Our ice boxes are used as a means to empower micro traders to sell
cold beverages and grow many small self-sustaining businesses in
the developing markets. The multiplier effect of many thousands of these traders can have a big effect on an economy and numerous
case studies point the way to dramatically increased sales. A win-win
situation for both the trader and the Bottler.
With this in mind, we share the vision of building economic
opportunities in the informal markets by giving people the tools
by which they can earn a sustainable daily income and drive
employment.
We pride ourselves in producing the best rotational moulded
products available. We use UV stabalised polymers which are
guaranteed not to fade. The high quality foaming process ensures
that the ice boxes can maintain ice for a number of days. Our ice
boxes can be effectively used in tough terrains and endure extreme
conditions.
Sales agents have been appointed in East and Southern Africa who
are well connected, allowing Icemann International Ltd direct access
into these markets. Sanden Intercool Kenya Ltd (based in Kenya)
operates in East Africa and Resource Marketing operates in Southern/
West Africa. Our agents are well established in their respective
markets and listed as preferred suppliers to the Coca Cola system.

Design and
Manufacturing
Our manufacture facility is one of the largest rotomoulded plastic factories in Asia, a modern state of the art rotational moulding facility.
Our boxes are made from a single piece mould using the most
advanced rotational moulding technology. These boxes are then
foam injected for superior ice retention making them virtually
indestructible. We use only virgin grade raw materials which are UV
stabilised so that the ice boxes do not fade and will give years of great
quality service. Many of the components and moulds are custom
manufactured in-house.
The 5000 square meter factory employs 700 workers and is geared
towards large volume production and is capable of delivering
quantities of 10 000 ice boxes and more. If you have high volume
requirements, we can assist in meeeting these targets.
